The staff at Nicholas Bray Landscapes have been working on the Anglicare Aged Care facility in Dapto, for the past three years. The complexity of this project is based around the aged care facility’s location, which is amongst an existing forest of indigenous trees. The landscape has been about integrating the built form, within a sensitive ecological community. Collaborating with a team of architects, civil engineers, bushfire, flora and fauna consultants, we have delivered a landscape masterplan. The garden areas surround a new residential aged care facility and individual living units. The landscaping consists of deep soil plantings and podium gardens, with a combination of passive and active spaces.
